Veronica ‘Georgia Blue’ – Speedwell
Veronica ‘Georgia Blue’ is a low-growing, spreading perennial valued for its vibrant blue spring flowers and attractive ground-covering habit. In early spring, masses of rich blue blooms with pale centres appear across the plant, creating a bright carpet of colour at the front of borders and along pathways.
Flowering from early to mid-spring, the delicate flowers sit just above small, glossy green leaves that form a dense mat of foliage. As the seasons change, the foliage can take on attractive bronze and purple tones, adding extra interest later in the year.
Growing to around 10–15 cm in height with a spread of 40–60 cm, Veronica ‘Georgia Blue’ is ideal for groundcover, rock gardens, edging borders, or spilling gently over walls and containers.
This hardy perennial thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers well-drained soil. Once established, it is easy to maintain and will gradually spread to form a colourful, low-growing carpet.
